We Asked A Hacker To Steal Our Tech A Hacker Reporter’s Data. It Was Disturbingly Easy

A reporter named Donie o'sullivan and a hacker namedWe Asked A Hacker To Steal Our Tech A Hacker Reporter’s Data Rachel Tobac.
In a hotel on the west coast of America a hacker could quickly get my address and number. This is what happened to me: in las vegas august at def con.one of the biggest hacking conferences in the world, i met Rachel Tobac. Tobac is a celebrity. But Tobac is one of the good hackers - a type commonly known as "white hat." (The bad is called "black hat.") I asked Tobac to hack me. Without my password, and without hacking my email account, he could get my home address, my telephone number and steal my hard-earned hotel points. He did all this by using some information he found about me online, such as the airline I was flying to and the hotel where I was staying. To get my home address, he called the furniture company that I tweeted. Tobac claims that he is my wife and he wants to check if the company has my correct home address on file before he orders again. He deliberately gave the wrong address and the person on the other end of the phone fixed it with my complete home address. Tobac hopes he can start convincing companies and consumers that making things a little more difficult is worth it

  1. Tobac is a girl so the pronoun should be "she"

This is also almost a word for word of what Donie says in the video, not your actual summary or opinion
